ASA: XMAS(A) PARTY 2025 ‘GEN TALK & TV ICONS PARTY’

15 December 2025 - Corporate -

The Vicenza-based company closed out 2025 with a celebration of diversity. For the holiday season, ASA invited its staff to take part in a ‘journey into the value of intergenerational dialogue’, guided by Sebastiano Zanolli. The event ended with a ‘TV and Cinema Icons’ themed party.

A journey into the value of dialogue between generations. A meeting to understand how to create authentic connections between people of different ages and experiences to generate unexpected results and collective growth. A programme to reflect on diversity as a stimulus and a factor of awareness, for both individuals and groups. The ‘XMAS(A) PARTY 2025’ by ASA – a company specialising in the production of medical devices for laser therapy and magnetotherapy in both human and veterinary fields (editor’s note) – represented the final stop of an itinerary that, unfolding through several events across 2025, made the ‘Value of diversity’ its common thread.

Guided by Sebastiano Zanolli – manager with experience at Diesel, Adidas, 55DSL, OTB; author of many books on individual responsibility and collaboration; speaker and coach for national and international companies and organisations (editor’s note) – ASA's staff explored how constructive exchange between different generations is an opportunity for enrichment.

‘In organisations,’ explains Zanolli, ‘value is created when generations stop defending their own style and begin to observe that of others. Those with more experience bring depth, technical memory, and a sense for consequences, while recent additions add speed, fresh questions, and freedom from routines. When these plans connect, something useful happens: the individual expands their repertoire and the community becomes more resilient. Skills don't just add up – they transform.’

To foster this kind of mash-up, it is helpful to design contexts where generations can meet, creating narrative spaces and exchange rituals.

‘In this regard, ASA already has an advantage: its technical culture coexists with very diverse personal stories. If these stories are brought to the surface through interviews, cross-functional projects, and shared moments, integration stops being an HR initiative and becomes a professional habit.’

So, make room for good practices that can permeate daily life, such as

‘giving voice to viewpoints rather than labels, creating structured exchanges, and highlighting the contribution of each phase of working life. If a company shows that all ages are useful, then every generation will stop seeing the other as a problem and instead will start seeing it as a resource.’

‘The exchange proposed by Zanolli,’ says Giulia Sossella, ASA’s HR Manager, ‘is a useful springboard to allow people to focus on the importance of respecting mutual differences, making it an opportunity to learn to know each other better and to accept one another. A growth journey that concerns us all across the board and that, as ASA, we have championed this year, organising several meetings and moments of reflection.’

Marking the ‘ASA 2025 calendar’ aimed at raising awareness of respect for diversity, were events held on the occasions of:

  • the ‘Odd Socks Day’ (7 February in Italy);
  • the ‘World Day for Cultural Diversity’ (21 May), during which staff were involved in a symbolic gastronomic journey based on traditional recipes from countries in which ASA operates;
  • on 5 November, in collaboration with the Bassano-based association Women For Freedom, the company invited its personnel to attend the event ‘Inclusive communication: culture of respect’;
  • on 25 November, for the ‘International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women’, ASA created an installation with a series of red shoes, a poster listing the names of all women who have been victims of femicide since the beginning of 2025, and a space for contributions from company staff.

ASA - Damiano Guidolin

‘Aware that change begins with small gestures, as a company we promote a culture of awareness and respect. We are convinced that everyone can contribute to generating a virtuous cycle that makes inclusivity and solidarity its cornerstones. The Talk with Zanolli organised during the Christmas party confirms precisely this, highlighting the beauty of being different, starting from belonging to different generations,’ concludes Damiano Guidolin, ASA’s CEO and General Manager.
