ASA celebrates cultural diversity with a tour of the world's gastronomic cultures

The events organised by the Vicenza-based company on the theme "The value of diversity", chosen as the leitmotif for 2025, continue. On the World Day for Cultural Diversity, personnel were involved in a symbolic gastronomic itinerary entrusted to typical recipes from the countries of the world in which ASA is present.

Food as a moment of sharing, as an opportunity for exchanging views, as a cultural moment and a chance to go beyond differences, getting to know the gastronomic traditions of other peoples up close. To celebrate the “World Day for Cultural Diversity” (21 May), ASA - a Vicenza-based company specialising in the production of laser and magneto systems for physiotherapy and rehabilitation in the human and veterinary fields - has “put its employees in the kitchen”, involving them in a symbolic “journey” to discover the flavours and tastes of the world.

Dishes and typical products from different cultures thus allowed eliminating geographical boundaries, promoting the “goodness” of differences and enhancing the pleasure of diversity. Starting with flavours. 

“Nothing brings people together like good food! Accepting differences - explains Giulia Sossella, ASA HR Manager - also involves learning to know and appreciate the gastronomic tradition of different nations, which says a lot about their culture and history. Even flavours that are different from those we are generally used to can therefore open our vision and teach us to embrace every type of difference”.

The project is part of the company path "The value of diversity" started at the beginning of 2025 with the aim of promoting inclusiveness, mutual understanding and respect for those who are different from us.   

“The World Day for Cultural Diversity was an important driving force to return to emphasising concepts such as respect, acceptance, understanding and to allow all of us to come into contact with different realities in a simple and instinctive way. "Different but equal" remains the inspiring theme of this entire year, which will be punctuated by other events and opportunities for thought, useful for promoting individual and social improvement".
