Gazzetta.it: Ironman and the Spartan Race? Keeping overuse pathologies in check with Hilterapia®

26 January 2022 - Corporate -

Preparation is essential to tackle extreme competitions such as Ironman and the Spartan Race, but the risk is that of going over the top with training, with important physical effects. Tendinitis, contractures and muscle lesions, but also cartilage strain and stress fractures are among the most common injuries that can occur.

In order to keep these in check, laser therapy plays a key role: Hilterapia® and HIRO TT in particular have proved to be effective not only in preventing some muscle-osteo-joint traumas, but also in successfully treating evident pathologies. This is stated by Ivano Vellucci, a physiotherapist and endurance athlete, in an article in Gazzetta.it
