ASAlaser at the Italy-China Science, Technology & Innovation Week 2016

08 November 2016 - Corporate -

The 2016 edition of the Italy-China Science, Technology & Innovation Week, the biggest business-matching platform between Italy and China in the fields of science and technology, was held in Italy this year, in Bergamo, Bologna, and Naples.
It has now reached its tenth edition and this year’s was the biggest ever, with the participation of a vast community of innovators from Universities, research centres, innovative businesses, start-ups, investment funds, incubators and institutions from the two countries. We are talking of approximately 2000 Italian and 600 Chinese companies, which include 26 Research Institutes and 18 of the most important Universities. Among these scientific and technological companies, ASAlaser also had an important role. In fact on 27th October, in Naples, during the celebration of the China-Italy Innovation Forum, attended by our Minister for Scientific Research, Stefania Giannini and by the Chinese Minister for Science and Technology, Mr Wan Gang, ASAlaser signed an agreement, the first private company to do so, with Beijing TED Healthcare Technology Ltd. and the Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. An international “hand-shake” in order to develop appropriate protocols for applying MLS® Laser Therapy to Chinese acupuncture points, with the objective of finding new therapeutic solutions for different pathologies, beginning from non-specific musculo-skeletal pain.
This is an Italian-Chinese agreement which fully embraces the spirit of this event: to unite the history and millenary knowledge of the two countries with technological innovation in order to create important co-operation and development projects.
This new collaboration was signed by the Managing Director of Ted Healthcare, Mr Dai Rujun, and by Dr Wan Linpeng, from the TCM Hospital, considered the most important reference point for Chinese acupuncture. At the end of the ceremony, Doctor Wang held a speech on Chinese acupuncture, from its origin to its development through the centuries, underlining how the integration with the ASAlaser technological innovation could be considered the new frontier of this important field of traditional Chinese medicine.
