Il Giornale Di Vicenza: “Suture in Space” enters phase 2

09 January 2023 - Research -

Can wounds be healed in space? The answer is provided by the experiment “Suture in Space”, in which ASA played a leading role.

The project chosen by the European Space Agency and supported by the Italian Space Agency now enters phase 2.
The samples prepared by the Joint Laboratory between ASA’s Research Division and the University of Florence, which were sent to the International Space Station, will be returning to earth in mid-January, ready to be analysed.
As the article in “Il Giornale di Vicenza” reports, it will take at least a year to have the results available.
