Vicenza: MLS® training for Doctor Abarca

13 July 2017 - Trade fairs & Congresses -

Two intense training days concerning MLS® Laser Therapy were provided to Doctor Monica Abarca, director of the Fisioactivia clinic, the first private facility to offer high-level physical therapy services, integrating advanced instruments and technology including the robotised M6 system, at our Vicenza headquarters on 10th and 11th July. The doctor took part in an Advanced Course of MLS® Laser Therapy under the guidance of Giacomo Granozio, Area Manager, and of the Training Coordinator Alberto Zaghetto, in order to acquire the necessary skills to optimise results using the M6 system.

The first day involved a theoretical session which began from the basic concepts of MLS® Laser Therapy and reached the scientific research which demonstrates its efficacy. Ample space was given over to the practical aspects during the afternoon in order to refine the application methods of the therapy by combining the handpiece with the robotised head of the M6 system. Doctor Abarca appreciated our “global approach” therapeutic method which reduces pain already from the first session, with a notable decrease in treatment times.

The second day involved a visit to the Centro Medico Serena in Padova, equipped with ASAlaser systems, in order to allow Doctor Abarca to gain knowledge of the organisation and working methods of a first-class Italian private facility and to interact with the physiotherapists so as to exchange experiences.

Once back in Costa Rica, Doctor Abarca enthusiastically reported she had immediately noticed the difference in the results obtained with the new application methods she had just learned. One of the first persons to benefit was tennis player Diego Chavarria, who is part of the national selection for the Davis Cup.
