Vicenza: intensive training for Thai doctors

03 March 2016 - Training -

The activities involving training for ASAlaser staff continue: from 22nd to 24th February it was the turn of a large Thai delegation consisting of five important physicians: Dr. Prapaporn Prachpayont and Dr. Sujira Roongsirisangrat from Bangkok Hospital and Dr. Tipwadee Bunprajun, Dr. Chutiporn Thammajaree and Dr. Prasert Sakulsriprasert from the Faculty of Physical therapy at the Mahidol University in Salaya, accompanied by the staff of our local partner IMS. Both units have been equipped for a long time with MLS® Laser Therapy and Hilterapia® systems and represent two of the main ASAlaser reference centres in Thailand.
During the first day of training held by Lucio Zaghetto, CEO of ASAlaser, the main aspects related to laser therapy were theoretically discussed in-depth, in order to enable participants to understand the uniqueness and advantages of MLS® Laser Therapy and Hilterapia®. The second day was devoted to practical aspects in order to analyse the various ways of using our systems and to allow the doctors to optimise therapeutic results on their return to Thailand. Finally, the last day of the tour concerned a visit to the Fisiolab physiotherapy studio of Dr. Mara Mezzalira in Rosà (Vicenza), a Hilterapia® reference centre. This activity contributed to completing the practical part of the course, by allowing doctors to watch Hilterapia® being used on real-life patients in order to treat a blunt shoulder trauma with obvious bruising, a footballer’s osteitis pubis and a sprained ankle due to trauma. "We explained to our guests - stated Giacomo Granozio, the Area Manager- how physiotherapist Dr. Mezzalira, after attending all three Hilterapia® courses given by ASAlaser (Tutorial, Advanced and Master), was able to attain a superior knowledge and skills in the application of the therapy, optimising time and results during her daily practice".
"I particularly enjoyed the theoretical part tackled during the first day of the course - reported Dr. Sakulsriprasert from Mahidol University - I greatly appreciated the technical knowledge of lasers and the scientific information related to the biological effects on tissues which form the basis of the good therapeutic results I am getting with ASAlaser systems. I also found the visit to the Fisiolab centre greatly interesting, where I could see how the use of the advanced methods implemented by Dr. Mezzalira produced immediate results on her patients".
"The part of the course which impressed me most was the visit to the Hilterapia® specialist centre - commented Dr. Prachpayont-; being able to check out the methods of use employed by Dr. Mezzalira on several clinical cases and sharing the diagnosis and the results of the treatment in real-time was extremely useful. It has also allowed me to put into focus what I learned during the first two days concerning the global approach methods on which Hilterapia® is based".
