UK: MLS® training in dental field

Learning the use of MLS® Laser Therapy and of Mphi D devices for a more effective application of the therapy for temporo-mandibular disorders and craniofacial pain has been the goal of ASAlaser’s training staff, who has led the Indentsystems ltd’s team (ASA’s distributor for the dental target in UK and Ireland) in three training days organized in the classrooms of the "Dental Training Institute" in Chertsey (Surrey).

«The first day - explains Roberto Terruzzi, ASAlaser Area Manager – has been dedicated to the training of Dr. Karina Patel (professional specialized in orthodontics and craniofacial pain, cosmetic dentistry and anti-aging non-surgical dental treatments, ed) and her assistant, the nurse Claire Scanlon, that have received more information about MLS® in addition to those ones already acquired in the U.S. directly from Dr. Steven Olmos». The TMJ American expert, leading the "TMJ and Sleep Therapy Center" in San Diego, since long time uses successfully Mphi and Mphi 5 devices in the treatment of different types of neuritis and neuralgia, inflammatory problems of the jaw, of facial muscles, of the neck and parts of the body associated. After this "double training" Dr. Patel, in addition to continuing her work at the dental clinic "Courtyard Clinic", will support the activities of the local distributor. ASA’s UK dealer who has been the protagonist of the following two days (January 22 to 23) structured in a theoretical session (basic principles and MLS® Laser Therapy within dental, clinical background and scientific research) and a practical one with the use of Mphi D trolley device. «The last step of the training - concludes Terruzzi - focused on uses and protocols of MLS® in dental field, involving the Indentsystems ltd’s management and the Courtyard Clinic doctors, among which Dr. Yasmin George with twenty years of experience in orthodontics and cosmetic dental medicine. Interested to therapy, the doctor has supported the colleague Dr. Patel in a practical exercise acting as a patient with real craniofacial problems».
