Energy for Health #17

26 March 2018 - Trade fairs & Congresses -

The content of the seventeenth issue of Energy for Health, the scientific journal of ASAcampus, concerns insights on both laser- and magnetotherapy. The first paper describes a "case report" that demonstrates the effectiveness of MLS® therapy in reducing painful symptoms associated with cervical radiculopathy. In the second study, carried out by doctors in dental medicine and surgery, it is reported a series of cases where MLS® therapy is associated with the use of a bite splint in the treatment of craniofacial pain and temporomandibular joint disorders. The third article describes the results obtained in two centres which treated a total of 100 patients with HIRO TT, a new therapeutic strategy which combines the Nd:YAG pulse laser source with a cooling system which lowers the temperature of the skin and of the underlying tissues (SmartCooler). Finally, a research study aimed at understanding the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying the biological effects of electromagnetic fields is presented.
