New endorsements for MLS® and Hilterapia® from the Czech market

04 November 2016 - Trade fairs & Congresses -

Kardio-Line, ASAlaser’s local partner, is always at the forefront in spreading our healthcare solutions through an active and expert team which continues to collect positive feedback from the many events it attends.
From 18th to 20th September, it took part in the tenth edition of the Národní kongres ČSOT organised by the Czech Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology in the premises of the Top Hotel in Prague, in order to present the complete range of therapeutic devices for Laser Therapy. Among the speakers at the conference, which numbered around a thousand members including many orthopedic doctors from the Czech Republic and Slovakia, Dr Jan Busek stood out with a speech entitled "A new approach in the treatment of pain using Hilterapia®". The user of the SH1 device at the most renowned Rehabilitation Centre of the Czech Republic, Kladruby, presented the positive and lasting effects of HILT® treatments carried out on patients with "failed back surgery syndrome" and "vertebrogenic Algic syndrome", both painful spine conditions.
The following month, on 21st October, for the fourth consecutive year Kardio-Line organised a workshop entirely dedicated to MLS® Laser Therapy and to Hilterapia® entitled "New therapeutic methods in the field of orthopedics, neurology and rehabilitation: MLS® Laser Therapy and HILTERAPIA®". During the presentation, which took place at the Green Point Conference Center in Prague, Dr Jana Martínková, a specialist in physical medicine, rehabilitation and orthopedic surgery and a member of the medical team of the Czech National Olympic team, also intervened.
The Doctor, who uses both the M6 and Hiro 3.0 therapeutic solutions, developed the clinical part by presenting real cases evidencing the results which can be achieved with the use of MLS®, from the sportsman with an ankle sprain and an injury of the Anterior talofibular ligament (ATFL) to an elderly patient with endoprosthesis of the knee joint. The case of an 11-year-old boy with serious injuries in the abdominal area as a result of a car accident, who had undergone multiple operations resulting in the presence of a large scar and the risk of extensive skin necrosis in the abdominal area, raised a great deal of interest. "Thanks to the bio-stimulating effect of MLS® -said Dr Martínková- it was possible to reduce inflammation and to obtain a regression of the necrotic area".
As regards the results obtained with Hilterapia®, she presented the case of a volleyball player suffering from patellar tendinitis and the case of a dancer with a knee distortion: in both cases, the doctor demonstrated the effectiveness of HILT® by showing supporting ultrasound images.
"During these two recent events, the interest shown towards our equipment for MLS® Laser Therapy and Hilterapia® was strong -said Ondřej Daněk, Engineer - Constant exposure and positive treatment outcomes encourage us to continue along this educational line".
