MLS® and Hilterapia® at the forefront in Thailand

03 July 2017 - Trade fairs & Congresses -

Five “full” days of training seminars in prestigious Thai hospitals, exchanging experiences with doctors of reference and participating in an important congress organised in Bangkok: these are the activities planned by ASAlaser in Thailand from 26th to 30th June, in collaboration with our local partner IMS. These actions are all aimed at reinforcing the partnership with customers and at fostering the importance of training.

Two seminars were organised on Monday, 26th June, the first one “Hilterapia® Excellence in Laser therapy: The Repetitive and Sport Injury Approach” in cooperation with the prestigious Bumrungrad International Hospital, the second “Hilterapia® Excellence in Laser Therapy: The Repetitive Injury” in cooperation with the Bangkok Hospital. Both hospitals are equipped with ASAlaser therapeutic solutions. The seminars were attended by doctors from the famous clinics and by potential customers interested in gaining in-depth knowledge of the high-intensity treatment. The training was led by Giacomo Granozio, Area Manager, supported by Salvatore Germano, Master Trainer, who first presented the treatment from its technological point of view, subsequently analysing the biological and therapeutic aspects and the proposed methods for treating overtraining problems particularly connected with sports patients. Germano then presented various clinical cases of athletes suffering from tears, muscle sprains and bone fractures with related oedema, covered with the support of pre-and post-treatment ultrasound and MR scans. The practical aspect where Germano demonstrated the validity of Hilterapia® by treating various patients, including one basketball player and one Thai box wrestler, obtaining positive results after just a few minutes, aroused great interest.

The following day, the ASAlaser staff met Doctor Prasert Sakulsriprasert from the faculty of Physical Therapy at the Mahidol University in Salaya who took part in an intensive ASAlaser training course in 2016, subsequently becoming a valid testimonial for our solutions. During the visit, Doctor Prasert and his staff were keen to exchange ideas and experiences concerning the SH1 system present at the University, in order to optimise the already satisfactory results obtained with Hilterapia®.

The visit to Thailand ended with the participation in the international WCPT-AWP & PTAT congress held at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Center (BITEC) from 28th to 30th June. At this important event organised by the Physical Therapy Association of Thailand and entitled “Moving towards health, longevity and sustainability”, ASAlaser arranged an own stand displaying all the models from the MLS® and Hilterapia® family. The event was attended by 600 participants, not just from Thailand, but also from neighbouring territories. Visibility was ensured by the presence of IMS, by the excellent position of both stands and by the large number of staff dressed in traditional Thai clothes who implemented a really wide dissemination of information.
