The conference organised by the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain Australian Chapter (AACP), concerning the latest dental health news for Temporomandibular Dysfunction, was held on 27th August in the Stamford Plaza Sidney Airport Hotel located in the Australian town with the same name. During the event entitled “Medical Modalities for TMD”, three of the five speakers presented the MLS® Laser Therapy techniques employed in their daily practice. Among these, the speech given by Dr Nghiem Doan, an oral surgeon and a specialist in dental anaesthesia and dentistry within the public health sector, “Treatment of Craniofacial Pain with Mphi Laser”, generated great interest: for the occasion the well-known specialist revealed the results obtained during 12 months of research studying MLS® Laser Therapy applied to dentistry. “His intervention -pointed out Catherine Norton, CEO of Digital Dental, ASAlaser’s local dealer and conference sponsor- generated particular interest among the dentists attending, some of whom expressed their desire to take part in the research program”.
