Full immersion in the Thai market

05 May 2016 - Trade fairs & Congresses -

Five “full” days dedicated to formative training for doctors and specialists from prestigious Thai hospitals, workshops on Hilterapia® and MLS® Laser Therapy and meetings with reference doctors: there are the activities planned by ASAlaser in Thailand from the 25th to the 30th of April.
Attention focused first of all on the Rehabilitation Centre of the Bangkok Hospital, one of the biggest private hospital structures in the south east of Asia, equipped with both laser therapies, today it represents one of the ASAlaser reference centres in Thailand. For the occasion, our staff planned an advanced training session dedicated to Hilterapia®, targeting doctors from the department and the entire technical team, some of which had already participated in a course in Italy last February.
“It is always a pleasure to see –declared Giacomo Granozio, the ASAlaser Area Manager- that after the first training, the Bangkok Hospital doctors also confirmed they had obtained clear improvements in the therapy results with Hilterapia®, putting into practice the “global approach” and the indications learned during the first course in Italy. We were very pleased to visit one of our main reference centres in Thailand –added Granozio- and it is always nice to see the enthusiasm with which the doctors, after receiving a first training, want to learn how to optimise treatment methods and to personalise protocols according to the clinical situation of each single patient.”
The second important appointment was the participation in the seminar “High Intensity Laser Therapy: The Key to Success”, held at the Zenith Sukhumvit Hotel in Bangkok and organised by our local partner IMS in collaboration with the Bumrungrad International Hospital, which has been equipped with both ASAlaser therapies for some time now. From a general introduction on Laser Therapy and the related physical principles and biological effects, Lucio Zaghetto, the ASAlaser CEO, moved on to present Hilterapia®, underlining the technical and therapeutic characteristics which make it unique. Theory was then followed by practice: Dr. Chkarg Pongurgsorn, from the faculty of Medicine in the Siriraj Hospital, specialised in Sports Medicine, illustrated some clinical cases related to athletes from different sporting disciplines, from football to dance. The feedback received from participating doctors was more than positive: “What actually makes (and will make in the future) the difference between ASAlaser solutions and other lasers on the market –some of them  stated- is the guarantee of a strong scientific contribution and of a market training project begun few years ago”.
Lastly, a morning of meetings with reference doctors, anxious to learn more about the uniqueness of the therapy at their disposal directly from the parent company, was planned at the Ramathibodi Hospital, also equipped with ASAlaser systems. Training on the use of the recently acquired Hilterapia® was moreover provided to approximately 25 participants from the rehabilitation and physical therapy department.
