The El.En. Group among the “2021 Sustainability Leaders”

04 May 2021 - Corporate -

The 150 companies listed as “2021 Sustainability Leaders" also include El.En., a group of which ASA has been an integral part since 2003.

The initiative, carried out by the German company Statista in collaboration with Il Sole 24 Ore, analysed the financial statements, the sustainability reports and the 2019 non-financial statements of 450 companies with headquarters or branches in Italy, with the aim of identifying those that have a virtuous approach to sustainable governance. The Florentine group was held up as an example in terms of awareness and targeted actions thanks to a series of initiatives aimed at implementing a business marked by respect for the planet and for people.

“A commitment - explains Roberto Marchesini, ASA General Manager - that we embrace on a daily basis, by investing in activities which protect the surrounding environment, the employees and the related industries that revolve around the company: being sustainable means first and foremost being aware. From its Environmental Policy to that on Human Rights, from Anti-corruption to the Sustainability Report, everything is part of the company’s growth path in the name of social responsibility”.
