Some little tricks can help reducing the risk of carpal tunnel syndrome, especially if daily activities involve repetitive movements of the hand.

It is necessary to reduce the force and relax the grip: in example for prolonged handwriting, use a big pen with an oversized, soft grip adapter in order to avoid to grip the pen tightly or press as hard on the paper.

Take frequent breaks, especially if doing a job that involves the use of an equipment that vibrates or that requires to exert a great amount of force.

Improve your posture: incorrect posture, in example when typing, can increase the chances of having troubles.

Keep your hands and wrists warm. If working in a cold environment, wearing gloves is recommended.
