Born on April the 27th, 1953 in Florence and
resident there.
Graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Florence, on April the 5th, 1979. Specializing in "Orthopedics and Traumatology» at the University of Florence on June the 22th, 1982, "Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation" at the University of Florence on June the 13th, 1985, and "Sports Medicine" at the University "G. D'Annunzio", Chieti, on November 24th, 1997.
Ordinary university Professor in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitative in the University degli Studi "G. DʼAnnunzio", Chieti since 01/12/2003.
President of Physiotherapy degree course in the University of Medicine and Surgery of the University "G. DʼAnnunzio» in Chieti.
Currently director of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation service of University of Chieti by University Centre of Medicine of Sport University of Chieti.

D'Annunzio".
In scientific activity, he has participated as a speaker at numerous scientific congresses in Italy and abroad,and has published more than 300 scientific papers, four books and 15 chapters in book, Editorial Board of Italian Newspaper of Medicine Riabilitativa-MR.
Scientific activity is documented by several areas of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Sports Medicine and Postural activity which include the study of the dynamics and body posture by Optoelectronic computerized systems, rehabilitation in different ages and through the various energies both systems through physical rehabilitation and in microgravity in physical-sportive, the application of sports medicine and rehabilitation when even estimate in the most widespread diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, osteoporosis. Clinical experience about the complete spinal injury and incomplete disease and high disability is causing particular attention to the identification protocols functional-rehabilitative.
